| Reading an article on Live Science about a class of anti parasitic drugs for dogs. It seems that hook worms are showing some resistance to the benzimidazole class of drugs. They are quoting people who want this class of drugs restricted so only professionals can buy them this was first noticed in greyhounds in the 1980's, so my question is, why is it suddenly a big issue that needs to be acted on now?
