West TN | All year long since Corteva announced the sunsetting of AgStudio, I've been wrapping my head around what to do with a replacement software. There's plenty of choices out there for agronomic solutions but none that I was able to find that also covered the business side, specifically landlords, shares, and splits, especially with crop inputs. I used it extensively to keep track of input costs, splits, and billed landlords out that were on crop shares and shared in the inputs. So I decided to go with FieldAlytics for the agronomy side and build an Excel spreadsheet to keep track of costs and bill landlords out. But I wanted a spreadsheet that needed only minimal input so that I could quickly enter in applications with minimal typing. It took me several days to build the calculators and master lists, but so far, I'm really pleased with it. After taking some time on the frontend to fill out the master lists with your tasks, products you use, and prices, inputs and costs can be quickly figured, saved as a PDF, and sent to landlords.
