It is a bit quirky but overall I like it. Biggest complaint I have is how quickly they bump prices. The custom report building is slick. I agree the UI could be better, but it makes more sense to me than Quickbooks.

Regarding the paper reconciliation... Why do you want that? Life is so much easier when transactions auto download & reconcile. I'm so much better at keeping up with bookworm now that I've eliminated manual reconciliation like I had to with my previous accounting package. I realize it's all personal preference but for me I much prefer the auto download.

The other thing I don't like is that you can't do journal entries for accounts categorized as "bank" accounts, and you can only do a "transfer" transaction from one bank account to another. If you have a loan at the same bank as your checking account, it doesn't let you "transfer" money from the bank account to the load account.
