This is always scary when other countries look at our country and can do a better analysis of our current predicament than most of our supposed "experts" here in the US. I guess the old adage comes in "can't see the forest for the trees." If you watch the "experts" on CNBC and the news bobble-heads all you hear is about the recovery that is going on. Of course the tax revenues keeps falling, so I'm not sure what they are looking at - somebody is not working/buying? Most likely they are all operating in a circle jerk mentality and each are saying what the other is, so they don't look stupid and/or holding off a panic (protecting their investments).

The problem lies in the author's scenario - and what he alludes to - is the end result is likely a third World War and/or government collapse of one or more countries.
