Your concern is founded schmitty, all classes of imports were up in 24 vrs 23 fresh/frozen and live. I don't have major heartburn on live as its Canada and Mexico... southern boys make money off Mexican cattle...whatever they can have them, Canadian cattle are top notch cattle and only breathe US air for 24 hours at the kill plants, I used to have major heartburn with Canuck cattle but now I have way too many Canadian friends to begrudge them killing here ; ) What I hate is Brazil cattle !!!!!!!!! 22% year over year on live, frozen they say 29% don't know if I buy that?
Prob is it not from the Auzies and Kiwis as before their down almost 30% it is from garbage Brazil cattle with USDA stamped on it.
