| As I was reading this thread….some thoughts focused on why “this time is different “…..I have lived part of this life and can share that markets simply don’t work this way….This time isn’t different….The ingredients might be a bit different but the outcome is the same.
This comment relative to “ work ethic “ got my attention….Ill break a cardinal rule and give strong credence to this observation…as I see it in my world.
At the same time, my intention is to LRP half of my unborn calves @ 100% tomorrow am based on today’s trade.
I believe the risk here is small….I believe the risk with summer 2025 breeding..calves born spring 2026 is significant….
Today , I plan on LRP those calves July /Aug 2025 as unborns.
It’s the unknown black swan event that drives my behavior. | |
