Also, some good stats.
I have sold many of my calves much smaller in the last few months for fear of the rug pull. I even sold some bulls instead of cutting. I am a believer in the 10 year or so cycle but hope we can hold these prices better than we did in 15. I sold my most expensive calves to date in 2015. That includes the same size and weight I have been selling for the last 30 days. In 15 I expected the price to go down....... but not as much as it did..... If this plays out the same way it did in 14 and 15, we should have a few more months before the rug pull. | |
