Jewell County KS | I did this with a Hesston BP25 for several years. Just hay no silage thru a Kelly Ryan wagon. It will work fine depending on what feedwagon you are using. I put the knife kit in mine and it helped cut a bit finer. Hammers can be flipped also. Doing the same with a Haybuster 2655 now. It grinds faster and finer also.
I don't know how other wagons would handle it though. | |
