I can’t speak to the 8610. We have been using our Haybuster 2660 to do this this winter. It works in our knight reel mixer. Definitely not as fine as tub ground hay but working with grass hay. It doesn’t work as well with my long stemmed millet hay. Haven’t plugged the mixer, but they sort it in the bunk more.
