Feeding dairy bull calves seems to be the beef of the future? Buy some "cheap" (relative to owning/acquiring, breeding, feeding and calving out a beef cow) bull calves at a local dairy and you're in business!

I've always wondered how much of the beef in the meat case at Walmart has some Holstein in it.

Does the cattle-on-feed report include Holsteins?
