Central Virginia | Only go to college if you have an idea of your major. College now is not what it was even 10yrs ago. Like others have said learning a trade might be a good place to start too. Sounds like the family farm has some baggage. They all do. I would keep your foot in the door for now, but start having clear and frequent communication with your grandfather. If there's a chance of working things out for you and your brother to farm it could still be a great opportunity. You need to figure out the current plan for when your grandparents die. They're 85, hopefully they already know. If everything goes to your dad and uncle you probably have no chance of holding it together.
