Missouri
While numbers are favorable and traditional formulas are still intact. Tremendous numerical values have changed that need to be somehow factored. Slaughter weights and cow size up maybe 50% from old formulas. Available pasture grass various losses, from urban sprawl to tremendous row crop and government policies. Imports cheap hamburger ect are being brought in to replace American beef. Dairy supply of higher quality animals will continue. Inflation from all sides has a multi factored effect. Food costs at restaurants that sell our product are hemorrhaging to pass the costs to the consumer. This is having a bearing on our demand. This line of economic influence is so complex it’s off the grid entirely. I could go on and on. We will be lucky to scrape out a living. This is not your grampa’s market.
