East River SoDak | Prices will come down, hopefully we have hit a new plateau so the low price isn’t too bad. A couple things I keep in mind, we don’t need to have high numbers to have lots of beef…huge sizes that cattle are being finished at offsets a tremendous number of cattle. One thing I am optimistic about though is the increased interest in high protein low carb diets. It’s sort of an “underground” movement but it’s real and it’s gaining steam….mostly thank twitter and guys like Dr. Shawn Baker for it..he and guys like him are doing more for keeping beef demand high than the beef checkoff…beef prices are high but people are seeing value and still purchasing | |
