One of the advantages to LRP is you can insure as few as one head, compared to an option contract that is much larger in numbers. So if your unsure about LRP, try it on just a few head. Helps you learn the process. You can try different levels of coverage to see what works best.
Options bleed time value, LRP does not. Make sure you factor that into your figures.
