| I know goats will devour shrubs. My sheep won’t necessarily eat the shrubs but they will devour every leaf on a tree they can get a hold of. Mine tend to go for leaves and weeds before they touch any of our old pasture grass. I know they will bawl at the gate a while after the weeds are gone. But we are ranching on 6-10” of rain so I’m sure the grass isn’t the most appealing. Some of the cattle guys will run pasture into November. Idk how they are making that work without fixing fence all the time. If you have a lot of shrub type ground and want to keep it that way goats are definitely not your answer | |
