Last report I read, heifers on feed 38%. Holding steady with 2023. It will be interesting to see the numbers in April or so.
My gut says fewer heifers on feed. My mind says feedlots need animals regardless of sex. Whatever the use, heifer values are rising more than steers, narrowing the sex gap.
