NW Iowa | I have a big cement stock tank around 1800 gal.
It was poured around 1920.
I use a trojan in it since they came out.
I cover the top with blue board and plywood.
It has 2 flip open lids.
I have a 100 gal propane tank on it.
With a bad winter a couple fills.
I've used 20% of a tank so far this yr.
If i have snow i'll throw it around the tank.
They work good.
Edit- I'll set the thermostat on 3 to 3.5 if its below zero, otherwise on 2.
you could turn it into a hot tub if you wanted
