Did the same 20 years ago after loosing several new born baby calves.  When I found out they where being taken to the caves in Kansas City and used as sacrifices.  Never lost another, but the neighbors down the road did.  One person can snatch a fresh new born and thump him over a fence. Actually was told if Kitty took someone out it could been considered premeditated murder.
