Isn't that the truth, I remember on the bus coming around the corner and the Lucy kids lined up in the morning. Seems like there were a half dozen BIG ones, and a few smaller, those kids could do some work. That house was probably falling in by 90's.
Most counties across the US had their peak population in the 20's. I bet the old timers were complaining about how easy the young people had it those days, "we used to have blizzards and droughts and nothing we didn't haul in ourselves, no railroads in those days, now you spoiled kids order anything you want out of a catalog, ON CREDIT, and get it delivered in a month or two, unbelievable!" |
