'Makes it difficult'.....great. Difficulty is what makes success sweet when achieved. Nothing compares to the satisfaction of achieving what others said was too difficult to achieve. I've done things difficult for not much monetary reward and easy things for a windfall. The difficult things furthered me much more than the easy money.
