Few years ago the big elevators here got to where basis became a major issue, no matter when you sold , forwardcontract etc , harvest months basis always horrible compared to just being able to wait a couple months after harvest to deliver, it hasn’t changed , bins are a basis and harvest ease tool around us , not really a price rally or price decline tool
