NW Wisconsin | X2 HERE I know a few people that have 100 head of beef and 500 acres of hay and crops and its a pretty decent living... Land costs are low HERE.
SW WI south of 151 in ice cream dirt good luck lol. You would probably have to 2x those numbers to swing land costs down there and compete with dairys. Thats if you can find a chunk of land that someone wants to sell. Feed gets expensive quick when row crop guys can grow 240 bu corn and 70+ bu beans on that ground. | |
