You think bringing in a bunch of co mingled calves they get looked at once a day? Absolutely not. Like i said above, I have been doing this for pushing 10 years buying 2x per year (spring and fall). I am an extemely quick puller. Like if they look a little stiff they are gettin pulled and temped, probably getting a shot even if they dont have a temp.

My normal protocol is they get an inforce in the barn, then bring them home and get them eating and will typically sit on them for 14-18 days before running them through the chute where they get one shot, bovishield gold 5, vision 7, drenched with safegaurd, poured with generic ivomec and implanted with rev g. I can think of 1 other time where I have been over 3% DL in the last 10 years and never have had to run everything through and mass treat with draxxin.

As also said above part of this is on me not communicating with my vet where they came from and not knowing until a couple days ago that they have an autogenous myco vaccine, which I found out by talking to a friend who owns a very large feedlot a couple days ago.
