| This post helps clear up a few things. Grandpa is still running the show bc he has no other options. Two sons, one with some issues on the farm and one son not on farm. It’s a very good sign that he’s open to you making some decisions. You and your brother need to have a sit down with grandpa and grandma and tell them your goals and concerns. Make sure to not isolate dad, the farm is probably helping with his sobriety.
Two young guys willing to work long hours there should be plenty of opportunities for some custom work if you have big farms all around you. Maybe you and brother can manage the home farm keeping dad and uncle busy and you and brother can stay busy with management and custom work. Just an idea. Best of luck | |
