I like some type of duroc cross in them. Adds a lot of hardiness.
I am not a pig farmer but our Duroc crosses are doing fantastic in the crappy Ohio weather we are having. These are outside pigs on concrete, they do have cover and straw to lay in.
Best boar for outdoor pigs?
