Isn’t there a Medicare tax bump if over a certain amount? It eats a couple more percent?
Medicare tax is 2.9% up to $250,000, above $250,000 is 3.8%
Technically Medicare is 2.9% tax up to $249,999.99, at $250,000.00 and above is 3.8% for married couple and that would be 3.8% for each spouse on Medicare.
