If you and your brother are the only ones doing the day to day chores what does your dad do to earn a check?
I wouldn’t use the phrase “ take over the farm” on your grandfather.
Agree. I'd far rather see you and your brother rent a portion of the facilities and fields from the family operation, and make a go of it yourself. That will feel much less upstart-ish to the older generations, than if you just start requesting and insisting on management roles. |
