East Central SD | Anyone have a foundation or similar vessel for charitable donations?
I should add I don't consider itemizing an option. I don't want to give up the standard deduction.
The only method I'm aware of is gifting of commodities (grain, livestock) to organizations. It's an ok option if the church is the only donation but pretty messy if there are multiple charities.
If I was going to donate say $10,000 each year it would simplify things if I could just donate $10,000 worth of grain into ??? and then disperse the money from there.
My accountant didn't have any good options for me so this may be a reason to upgrade accountants if there is some options available.
