West Central IA | With that being said The path of this farm going forward is quite clear. When Grandpa passes the farm will be sold to settle the 2 brothers. Sorry, if the farm is to survive they will need to be bypassed by Grandpa. Addiction and farming future do not go together and the other brother was not interested until there was nothing else. Grandpa thought he was doing everyone a favor by helping or should I say enabling them. If you want to be in this farms future best have a talk with Grandpa and figure out what will be going forward. And that might very well be you and your brother moving on. Last thing you want to do is give up years of decent pay for slavery and get by wages to get to 50 years old and don't have a pot to wizz in or a window to throw it out of. | |
