Bitcoin is wasteful and I loathe waste.

If google can be trusted, and Bitcoin mining/verification/proof of work stupidity really consumes in excess of 100 TWh of energy annually, then I can't imagine a more wasteful process.

The large Vogtle Electric Generating Plant (nuke) in Georgia produces a little under 20 TWh annually and dumbass Bitcoin wastes 5x of that plants capacity annually. Dumb.
