Hansell, Iowa | Recently aquired a group of pigs that came from a confinement style breeding program so obviously bred for lean and fast gains indoors. Was considering keeping a couple gilts out of the group if they look decent and farrowing them out. Raise all my fat hogs in open face cattle sheds on concrete and would farrow either in crates or small pens in an old hog house I have setting empty. Curious what my best breed of choice for a boar would be?
