I have, and also own a severe duty bush mower and clear plenty with that. Once you are done you need to keep it sprayed. If left untouched by year 2 there is some pretty major growth.
If you plan to farm it I still recommend using a track loader or hoe because mowing and mulching still leaves the roots/stumps
