Was to a coop meeting last nite, and was told we all should get 250bu corn & 70bu beans, just add 3-4 seed treatments, and more herbicide, and more fertilizer. Plus a sidedress. And be sure to up the planting population.

So easy a caveman could do it. Only costs $3 here, $12 there, and a bit more over yonder. We never get hail or floods or dry to set back a crop either, it's all gravy, every year. Just add more.

Aside from my bit of sarcasm, I do find value in such meetings, and will over time pick out the bits that I feel will work for me. But the whole presentation in one shot gets kinda amusing when you sit back & look at it. To finish up the night, a comment about they hardly know where to put a corn crop any more, we produce so much here....
