| I have said then poorest beef farmers are ex-dairymen I milked cows for 20+ years LOL, hate to say it but the 85 year old may be the problem for now, but not long the bigger issue will be your dad and uncle, are they going to hang on just as long? or do they realize what is happening? If Grandpa keeps the reins for another 5 years that farm could almost skip a generation, but you would need help to financially make it work. If you think you want it some day best thing you could do is find some feeding and cow/calf operations to work on in order to get insight and experience to see if it is what you want.
