se montana | I used Watson all metal float valves for. 30 years or more but I’ve had to quit them after all those years, They just seem to always need new gaskets to keep them from overflowing, Different rubber maybe , but just tired of the fight,
Started using Jobe high flow 1”. They won’t rust or rot. On occasion they get some algae in the diaphragm and won’t shut off, but it’s not real common, another downer is they aren’t very tough if cattle or wildlife get into an unfenced tank . We have bear problems.
