Low speed grinder with a diamond cutter.

I have had great luck with a Dremel style tool that can run slow, and use diamond burrs on it. Slow speed to not overheat the tooth, the diamond because it cuts well at slow speeds and doesn't shrink with use. If you go this route probably the most important part is to get the burrs the right diameter for your chain. Next most important thing is to sharpen at the right angle.
