Scranton | I'm fine with getting rid of everything. But then, no reporting of acres, no controlling of us on HEL and wetlands, no organic programs paying big bucks for more competition, no subsidies for solar and wind farms, etc
What most miss is all of this is just a way of controlling the little folks. And we all apparently have our price, and most of us are cheap whores.
A number of years ago, at the local town celebration, they had some rides and bouncy houses. $20 for a wristband to ride all. I took my autistic daughter up and bought one from a fat old bearded guy. When Addie talked it was apparent she was special needs. He refused my money and gave her the wristband while he said "I don't charge for retards". I was a bit taken aback but I accepted and we went to the rides. I joked with my friends, everyone has their price and apparently mine is $20. | |
