For reference, when the Bakken oil boom started, it took a couple of months to drill a well, a vertical well. Then they quit doing that and started on horizontal directional drilling and that took longer yet.
Now the record for one mile down and two miles out, horizontal directional drilled is just under 2 days, according to Nabors's Facebook anyways. | |
