Well genius we are not in the Cafe. We are at the Kitchen Table. Just because the article is in Popular Science doesn’t make it garbage. The stance of the article is very similar to the one held by the majority of the medical profession that are accredited and licensed as physicians with unsuspended licenses. The garbage that is peddled on here as medical fact is disgusting. People who don’t like what the doctors are telling them so they go out and find a quack with YouTube videos telling them what they want to hear. You do whatever you want with your health but don’t look down on those of us who choose to follow the advice of our doctors who actually studied medicine and are not peddling opinion or outright garbage. The carnivore diet being promoted on this site is extremely helpful with diabetes. I get that but it will also likely lead to coronary artery disease and colo-rectal cancer. I guess everything is a trade off.

Like you pointed out, doctors mostly study medicine. However they don’t really study nutrition, diet, or longevity in any significant amount. So studying medicine shouldn’t make someone’s opinion on diet and nutrition more valuable.
