Southeast WI | You are in a much different world than I am and it's always great to hear you say yeah, I'm doing this and this and it works here too. I broadcast rye in mid Nov last year after our vine crops and had a lawn out there. Did it this year and see how it works. We froze soil 12" deep soon after it rained and germed the rye, thawed out and top 4" was powder dry 10 days ago, frozen hard again and now 3" of snow on it. Not holding out much hope but if it works I'll post pics in spring! | |
