| An 80% CRC policy in Madison county IL with a 150 aph will cost about $11.70 per acre. Pretty hard to beat. I'd look very hard at this level, and put production hail/wind on for an additional few dollars. Tremendous price and drought protection, with top side protection from wind and hail, all for about $15 per acre.
Same with soybeans, an 80% policy will cost about $7.16. Add production hail for another two to three dollars, and great coverage in the $10 per acre range.
