I'm thinking this is just a cost savings on expensive popup fertilizer. I don't think it's designed to cut your entire fertilizer program. The most cost savings would be to just cut the popup completely and save the money on the exact shot system. At least around here anyway. Could never get popup to show a yield gain let alone a positive ROI.
