I've seen shucks blow pretty bad after running a deere no till drill on corn stalks. That being said, we do not have the wind that some places do. I am not a tillage guy, but either leave the stalks alone or do enough tillage to anchor them. Wind and floating of residue is a big problem here with shallow vertical till machines.
