NW Central Iowa (Fort Dodge) | But who said this metal, gold, is worth money? Someone did and people got around it..... Same principle someone said its worth money( Bitcoin) and people, especially the younger generation, once you have support more and more will buy it to it. If you want to make money just have a conversation with people younger and invest in there thoughts, someday with a little bit of luck it will be a "goldmine" literally. Its the early adapters that make the real money. Like it or not they will run this world and there thoughts will be more valuable than mine, that's the problem with the situation everyone is set in the old ways, and don't want to change. What came before gold? Food, goods, gold just was a way to hold all tangible good in ones item. No with the internet gold cant be easily traded over the web for good and services, so one had to think of a way to easily trade good and services with out a actual exchange. In my mind is the future like it of not, Gold = Bitcoin, Now you can think of other cryptos as other metals, Silver and so on, but bitcoin is the standard. Until the people get behind the next invention of a asset and that will replace bitcoin. Gold will always still be around, and I feel bitcoin will also, unless AI takes us over or a catastrophe
I am sure I will hear backlash about this, but I am guessing your older than I am, so time will play its course. I am considered younger in terms of farmers.
And to people that say you cant "see it" (crypto), I ask the old question what's the most valuable resource......? TIME, that's really not physical, yes physical labor is visible but time, time is a asset also
