West Central,WI
Had a 333G awhile ago and had alot of problems with it. Did mulching with it and went through 3 hydraulic pumps, drive motor and an issue with the turbo. It seemed to have good hydraulic power for lifting and breakout force, but that's about it. It has a hard time running the forestry head. It was very doggy and if it was warm out it had a hard time staying cool.
Got rid of that and went to a Cat 299D3 XE. The Cat could handle the forestry head much better and stay cool. Also rode a lot better too. Deere was a rough ride.
I since added a ASV VT100. For getting around in frozen ground or wet conditions there is no comparison on how the ASV can get around. Also rides smooth and has a nice seat so you're not so beat up after a long day either.
It's hard to beat the Cat, but I really like the ASV for mowing. It just seems like you can go anywhere with it.
