Apparently you didn't live through the 80s.

Born in 82. My parents bought the farm in 86, 18% interest.

Answer me this, is land bought in the 80's worth more or less today????

Does land that got sold in the 80's have a new owner or is it still sitting there with no owner because no one would buy it?

Land always goes up, and there's always a buyer.

Bought ground in the late 70s that in 1989 was worth about 1/3 of what paid for it . Took to about the mid 90s to get back to what it cost to buy it.

And don't you still own the land? Unless your plan was to sell it quickly, it looks like my theory is still true.
