Your husband and I are fairly similar, A ton of math in my head and hard to explain it to someone. Should be doing a yearly bank cash flow/ budget/ bet worth. Debt to asset ratio is most important in my opinion. Are the bills paid ? Got money ? Getting phone calls about not paying bills ? I think from what you say the farm is doing pretty well.
