| I suspect RFK Jr is popular with regular folk because he is asking the questions that a great many people have wanted answers to for a long time. The average person has known for a long time that those that make the rules tend to live by different rules but that type of corruption has become so blatant lately that it has taken centre stage. Even though he is a Kennedy and at a different level than the regular folk he is after the same answers that we at the lower levels want answered. Accountability for the elites. And he is in a position to push for those answers that the average person has little power to ask. The same can likely be said for Trump.
As far as healthy eating is concerned we have not always been told the truth. Over the years all sorts of natural foods like eggs, milk, red meat, etc, etc have all been vilified by the health care providers. These same health care providers were almost completely silent about the benefits of COVID outcomes experienced by those who had lived a life of healthy eating. There was only one answer, shots.
Of course people do gravitate towards the easy answer, such as shots, but in the case of healthy eating health care professionals were actually guilty of sending people down the wrong path when it came to health eating. To say anything else is the health care professionals deflecting responsibility for their own advice.
