I agree with alot of what has been said, farm need its own checking account, getting some close numbers on paper broke down between crops and cattle, and watching the balancesheet year to year.
There is alot of money that comes and goes. Maybe get out and help and try to learn proper terminology.
It amazes the number of people that go with the flow and really don't understand their numbers
