| I’ve had gehl, I like them, they’re good, self contained hydraulics are better. Mine was a 125, mill ram off pto but had its own pump to auger in and auger out.
I currently have a bearcat i happen to like it even better than the gehl. It is a 1250 but a hammer mill. It has a self contained hydraulic pump to auger in and auger out as well.
I don’t think you will be able to go directly out of a hopper bottom with the load auger in the grinder. I’ve never had one that was easy to use with a gravity wagon.
Your best bet will be to rob a swing hopper off an old auger and plumb it up with a hydraulic or electric motor and use that to fill your mill intake | |
